Garner Parks and Recreation Department

The Garner Parks and Recreation Department is made up of six area parks, a $3.9 million Veterans Memorial Recreation Center (opened in 2009), and a $3.2 million Aquatic Center.
The department organizes and performs a variety of youth and adult recreational programs. Check out the Youth Programs and Adult Programs pages to register! New activities, programs, and events are always being designed and implemented. Make sure to keep an eye on our social media pages to stay in-the-know!
Enjoy a beautiful day out at one of the six parks. Looking for a venue for your next family reunion, birthday party, or graduation party? Check out the shelter house at Tourist Park! Rentals for this facility begin April 15th and end October 15th.
