WELCOME TO GARNER, IOWA

Made possible by a generous donation this shelter was built in 2020, Garner's Pool Park Shelter provides more than 1,300 square feet of space for your event.  This facility has a capacity of 148 people for parties, meetings, and get-togethers.  It is equipped with 10 indoor tables, 80 folding chairs, and 4 picnic tables on the covered patios.  This shelter has a large fridge and kitchenette for easy food prep.  A large overhead door to allows both indoor and outdoor usage, and access to a covered patio, along with heat for the winter months and A/C for the hot summer days this shelter will fit the need of any party. 

Located in the Pool

Park, this facility is close to the Aquatic Center and playground,  With access to tennis, 4 pickleball courts, sand volleyball, and gagaball.  This location is guaranteed to have something for everyone!

Please bring any equipment needed for tennis, pickleball, volleyball, and gaga as balls and racquets/paddles are not provided.

Rental for this facility will be year-round and can be done by visiting the VMRC or signing up with the link below.

• Cost will be $75 for a half day. $75 deposit check is also required and will be returned or shredded (whatever you choose) upon inspection after rental.
• Half day rentals will be made for 8am-2pm or 3pm-10pm ONLY!
